Welcome to Children’s Ministries
At CCF our Children’s Ministry goal is to partner with parents in the all-important task of laying a strong foundation where children experience and learn about what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus.
The words of Jesus, found in Mark 9:37a, provide the framework for our ministry to and with kids: “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me.” We believe every child is a unique masterpiece created for a special purpose. Our mission is to engage with your child on their level, introduce them to Jesus and model fully relying on God.
Additionally, keeping your children safe and secure is a very high priority here at CCF.

On Sundays your child experiences age-appropriate classes and a time of worship together.
Here you will find not only fun-filled, spiritually-centered activities for your child, but also support and training opportunities for you as a parent. Becoming a Love and Logic Parent© is offered once a year.
Vacation Bible Adventure and Family Camp are summer highlights at CCF that greatly impact children.
Vacation Bible Adventure is a week-long, fun-packed activity focused on teaching children more about the God who loves them. This event annually reaches 150+ kids from the surrounding community, and provides teens and adults an opportunity to serve as a team in teaching and reaching the kids, and instilling biblical truths in their eager young minds.
Another annual summer event is Family Camp, which traditionally takes place near the end of July at Lincoln Rock State Park in Wenatchee. The relaxed setting of camp is an ideal place for fun and creating lasting memories and friendships. Children and adults, alike, bond around outdoor activities, water sports, games and meals.
A vital component of Children’s Ministry at CCF is providing kids singing and drama opportunities. In December, the children of CCF host the Christmas Musical on stage at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, but the work of preparation begins in September. Kids spend hours learning music, lyrics and memorizing scripts in preparation to share the message of Christmas with the church and community. It is a fun growth experience for the kids as they use their gifts, talents and preparations to bless the larger church body. What a great model for “engaging all generations.”
