FAQ’s

Here’s a set of questions we are frequently asked.

1. Does CCF belong to a denomination?

CCF does not belong to a denomination. The church was started in 1982 by several local families and has grown over the years. CCF does however desire to work in coordination and harmony with all churches that follow Jesus Christ. We have a good working relationship with several other local churches.

2. Where does the church hold worship services?

The church holds Sunday services at the Edmonds Center for the Arts (410 4th Ave N, Edmonds). The newly renovated auditorium seats 700. The church uses the CCF-owned Ministry Center for all other mid-week activities. The Ministry Center is immediately across the street from the Edmonds Center for the Arts.

3. What kind of children’s programs are available on Sundays?

During the worship services there is Nursery care for Infants and Walkers, as well as classes for Preschoolers and Elementary age kids.  A quality group of staff and volunteers provide a safe and caring environment for the children.

On the first Sunday of each month, children in kindergarten through 6th grade join their parents in “big church” as an opportunity to learn first hand what worship, prayer, and hearing God’s word is all about.

4. What is the worship style at CCF?

CCF has a contemporary style led by a worship team. CCF embraces hymns and praise songs from the past while enjoying worship music God is inspiring today. We seek to embrace worship that brings generations together and helps the younger and older seek God together.

5. How is the church governed?

CCF is governed by an elder board. Elders are nominated by the Body and serve three year terms. Elders meet for prayer and discussion two times per month and at other times as needed.

6. About how many attend CCF?

Currently about 300 attend our worship services with another 90 in the children’s programs.

7. What is the most important thing at CCF?

Vibrant and healthy relationships with God through Jesus Christ. Everything flows from this.
