Summer in Edmonds with CCF – 2017

Engaging all generations to fully rely on God…all summer long!

Our Sunday services will be from 9:30am to 11:00am through Labor Day Weekend.
We value worshiping God together and enjoying the beautiful summer days with family and friends.
Join us for worship each Sunday at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, and we will send you out into the sunshine at 11:00am each week!

June 28 + Worship & Prayer with the CCF Worship Ministry
Join us from 6:00-7:30 any Wednesday night for an informal time of worship and prayer.  The team will be worshiping through the songs for the next Sunday and everyone is welcome to come jump in and worship with us!  Play a guitar?  Cool, bring it and join in for the night!

June 22+ Women’s Bible Study:  The Daniel Prayer
Ladies, join us for this six-session video Bible Study author Ann Graham Lotz has us look at the life of Daniel and unpack the prayer he prays in Daniel 9. This is a prayer birthed under pressure. A prayer in which the pray-ers return to the Cross and repent of sin. A prayer that changes hearts and nations- even in our world today. Contact Denise Boone for more information.

June 22+ Women’s Bible Study: Sweeter than Honey
Author Melissa Deming offers encouragement to spend time in God’s word and gives us specific tools to help us understand what we are reading. This five-week discipleship guide helps first time Bible students cultivate an appetite for the Word of God. Also a great opportunity for those that want to develop better Bible study skills. June 24-26: Senior Trip
All high school seniors are invited to go away for a weekend to relax and unpack the next season of life!  Talk to Dave Jordan for the scoop if you haven’t already!

July 4: Edmonds Kind of 4th Parade Pickup
Join us after the parade in serving our city by picking trash up after the parade.  CCF has joyfully served our city for many years in this way and will continue again this year.  You’ll hear more info in the services in mid-June.

July 7-15: Nicaragua Student Missions Trip
Student will travel to Managua Nicaragua and work with Connect Ministries serving local churches.

July 10-14:  VBA (Vacation Bible Adventure)
Parents – You can count on a high quality, kid friendly, safe adventure for children
3 years (potty trained)-6th grade (completed)!  Register online
At Fun Factory VBA, kids learn one important Bible Point each day.
The Bible Point is reinforced daily through Bible adventures, key Bible verses, songs, snacks, and hands-on activities that help kids know more about being created by God and built for a purpose.

July 19: Church Picnic @ Hickman Park
Make plans to join us on Wednesday July 19th at Hickman park @ 6:00pm.  Bring a side dish to share and something to throw on the BBQ for your family.  There’s the play structure for the kiddos and lots of grass to spread out in style!

July 27-30: Family Camp @ Lincoln Rock State Park

August 10: Women’s Summer Worship Night
Guest Worship Leader- Jessi McNeal will lead us for an evening of praise and worship. She will also share her testimony and perform some of the songs she has written. Please invite a friend to join you! There will be a small fee for this event; stay tuned for additional details.

Aug 10-13: Student Ministry Summer Camp
All students 7th-12th Grade are invited to a great time out in the woods! We are heading to Leavenworth to spend time at Stonewater Ranch! Students will get the opportunity to kayak the Wenatchee river and spend a few days learning about Jesus and enjoying one another! Mark your calendars now!

August 20: After Church Barbeque
Join us after church on Sunday August 20th as we enjoy a fun Barbeque at the ECA.
