Our Values

Values explain the “why” behind what we do and what motivates our actions and activities.

CCF embraces four key values, which are Neighbors, Bread, Hands and Feet, and The Well.

NeighborsNeighbors

We value: Living out the gospel everywhere we go, as witnesses of the Living Christ

In everyday life, this is demonstrated by:

  • Recognizing and joining God in work He is already doing in the lives of lost people
  • Opening our homes and lives to others
  • Investing in the stories of others; loving them at all costs
  • Discovering and caring for “neighbors” all over the world

Scriptures: Luke 10:25-37; Matthew 22:39; John 4

BreadBread

We value: The Word of God as it nourishes all areas of life, revealing the Living Christ

In everyday life, this is demonstrated by:

  • Studying the Word expecting to encounter God
  • Receiving Biblical teaching that is a catalyst for life change
  • Regularly making connections with the Bible and our daily reality

Scriptures: John 6:51, 56; 2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12

Hands and FeetHands and Feet

We value: Serving others and traveling life together, obeying the Living Christ

In everyday life, this is demonstrated by:

  • Caring for others as we place their needs ahead of our own
  • Willingly accepting the care of others
  • Mourning sorrows and celebrating joys with others through seasons of life

Scriptures: John 13:1-17; Philippians 2:1-10; Luke 22:24-30

The WellThe Well

We value: Being filled by God through the Holy Spirit, glorifying the Living Christ

In everyday life, this is demonstrated by:

  • Celebrating God through corporate and personal worship
  • Enjoying God’s presence through prayer and other spiritual disciplines
  • Participating with God as Christ transforms our lives
  • Living a life worthy of the gospel

Scriptures: John 4:14, 7:38; John 15:1-10; Ephesians 4:1-6
